On the map

Sihia is a ring-shaped continent in the centre-east of Yezur, enclosing the Sea of Sihia. Although it is formally connected to Vetsia across a mountain range on a shared continental shelf, most observers consider only the ring itself to be Sihia proper. It is tropical and rich in both natural beauty and wealth, and was the first continent colonized by Ignusian settlers during the Yezuri Age of Exploration. Sihia and Vetsia are sometimes treated as a single continent, Vetsihia, though this conflation is a popular misnomer.

Languages

The native languages of Sihia are isolates; none of the world's five major language families is native here. Following colonization, Herta-Olaic languages came to be spoken across nearly the entire continent, with Andusian languages in smaller areas.
