Family A is one of the five major Yezuri language families, native to the south of Ignusia and the north of Andusia. Its attested members include the ancient Hertic and Gaillean languages, and Proto-A has been reconstructed.

Family A languages were carried abroad in waves of colonial expansion, coming to dominate nearly the entirety of Sihia and to occupy large parts of Lovvocia in the New World.
