Revision as of 18:27, 19 July 2026

Working report of the Alompan daily routine (how it works). Every finding lives as one row below until it is resolved: set a row's Status to give a verdict, and the next run carries it out and clears the row. Nothing on the wiki is changed except what is explicitly approved or amended.

The possible statuses:

  • pending — awaiting review; no action is taken (the default)
  • approved or accepted — carry out the Suggested fix, as written
  • amended — carry out the fix described in Notes instead
  • deferred — real, but not now; moves to Dismissed flags and is not re-flagged
  • rejected — not an issue; moves to Dismissed flags and is not re-flagged
  • to to-do — real issue that should be marked on User talk:Yezur's to-do list instead for human intervention
  • fixed — real issue, but was a simple fix for Yezur, and has been taken care of; confirm and clear

To revive a dismissed flag, move it back into the table as pending.

18 2026-07-18 structural medium Category:Ancient Hertic lemmas and ~60 sibling lexical categories The Dictionary import auto-categorises through {{head}}/{{lb}}, creating a large backlog of wanted categories: per-language lemmas plus part-of-speech children (Ancient Hertic, Proto-Herta-Olaic, Proto-Njeshan, Pjany), plus finer classes the Head scheme emits — gendered nouns, declension classes (first-/second-declension masculine & neuter), verb classes (IS-/OO-class), and register categories (Pjany slang, vulgarities). All redlinked; the set grows with every new language. flag-only — a scheme decision. Proposed (Wiktionary model): each Category:<Language> <pos> is a child of Category:<Language> lemmas; each Category:<Language> lemmas is a child of a per-language container and a cross-cutting Category:Lemmas; register categories branch separately. to to-do 2026-07-19 (apply run): held, not carried out. The plain lemmas/POS layer is fully specified and Alompan can batch-create it on one confirmation of the per-language container name (e.g. Category:Ancient Hertic language). But the finer categories — gender, declension class, verb class, register — have no parentage specified (e.g. does Ancient Hertic feminine nouns nest under Ancient Hertic nouns, or a nouns by gender intermediary?), which is a genuine taxonomy decision. Because these categories are emitted by Module:Head/Module:Labels, recommend Khurouan define and build the tree alongside the module scheme, or confirm the container name + sub-category parentage and Alompan will create the lot mechanically.

Human note: Accepting the proposed model. Will hand off to Khurouan.

20 2026-07-19 structural medium Category:Herta-Olaic languages, Category:Njeshan languages, Category:Family A languages, Category:Family B languages The two current family-language category pages were deleted (Yezur, 2026-07-19 00:04) while their member languages still categorise into them, so both resurface as wanted categories (Category:Njeshan languages, Category:Herta-Olaic languages). Meanwhile the two old placeholder redirects that #19 listed for deletion — Category:Family A languages → Herta-Olaic, Category:Family B languages → Njeshan — were not removed and are now broken redirects still sitting in Category:Pages flagged for deletion. The deletion appears to have hit the rename targets instead of the old redirects #19 intended. Recreate the two live category pages from their recoverable content — Languages belonging to [[Herta-Olaic]]. [[Category:Languages]] and the Njeshan equivalent — and action the two broken redirect categories (Category:Family A languages, Category:Family B languages) for deletion instead, per #19. fixed, accepted 2026-07-19 (apply run): recreating Category:Herta-Olaic languages/Category:Njeshan languages is an approvable mechanical fix (Alompan can do it on approval); the two broken redirects need an administrator delete. Note: this run's medieval-language stubs (High Nichana, Otjesi, Pises) categorise into Category:Njeshan languages, so it now has more wanted members — one more reason to recreate it.

Human note: I've deleted the old pages - can you recreate the accidentally removed categories?

The parallel declension wrappers were created earlier (F / M1 / M2 over Template:YAQ-HE-decl/core); Template:He-decl was deleted as superseded by this coded scheme. Dismissed flags

Deferred or rejected findings, kept here so later runs do not re-flag them.

  • #8 (deferred) — Wanted history-period pages Yezuri Age of Exploration / Yezuri Middle Ages. Operator: not canon names for these eras; will not create stubs under temporary names.
  • #11 (deferred) — Andusian / Tacchoan / Shung-Worrehan member-language queries fall back to the default. A content gap, not a data error; operator: no member languages are in yet, add when ready.
  • #12 (rejected) — Greek-letter native names on Hertia / Hertic language / Alompe etc. Operator: fully intentional in-world orthographic style.
  • #14 (deferred) — Uncategorised portal front pages and the root Category:Yezur. Operator: accepted, but no decided approach for handling it yet.

Latest run

2026-07-19 (apply run, human-triggered) — the operator's verdicts were carried out. Following the operator's ruling, accepted was treated as approved and done as "already carried out by the operator"; new stubs were created with only facts already asserted elsewhere on the wiki, inventing nothing.

Fixes applied (as Alompan):

  • #1 (approved) — Vetsia now notes Pandenica to its south, resolving Pandenica's orphan status (rev 1201).
  • #2 (approved) — created the Betonia stub, the western island subcontinent of Andusia (rev 1209).
  • #3 (approved) — created city redirects Khurou (1198), Thiorosirega (1199), Phose Serou (1200) → Hertia#Notable cities. Alompe left as its existing stub.
  • #4 (amended) — unlinked the non-page-worthy "New World" in Vetsia (1201), Lovvocia (1202) and Herta-Olaic (1203; the link had moved here from the deleted Family A redirect).
  • #5 (approved) — created the Unteria stub, the southeastern island chain of Andusia (rev 1210).
  • #6 (accepted) — created High Nichana (1211), Otjesi (1212) and Pises (1213). Correction to the original flag: the wiki establishes these not as places but as attested medieval Njeshan ancestor languages, so they were stubbed as such.
  • #7 (accepted) — created the Sea of Sihia stub, the sea enclosed by ring-shaped Sihia (rev 1214).
  • #9 (accepted) — created Module:Infobox/doc documenting the renderer's parameters, restated from the module source (rev 1215).
  • #10 (done) — the Continents Cargo table already exists (operator-built, 8 rows); row cleared.
  • #13 (amended) — replaced the Earth-derived placeholder province/capital names on Yezur Wiki:Maps with neutral test labels (rev 1204). Note for the operator: the row's secondary wish — documentation for the Maps templates — is a fresh task, not carried out here.
  • #15 (accepted) — English language: dropped the reflexive "Yezuri" planet-qualifier per the Earth test (rev 1205).
  • #16 (accepted) — Talk:Engil: escaped the bare {{Infobox polity}}. Verified: the spurious Polities Cargo row is gone — Polities now holds 0 rows.
  • #17 (accepted) — Template:Lb (rev 1207) and Yezur Wiki:Dictionary structure (rev 1208): escaped the bare {{head}} mentions. Verified: Lexemes dropped 527 → 525 (the two non-entry rows gone).
  • #19 (amended, "Done") — the operator had already actioned the family-rename deletions; row cleared. The residual (mis-deleted category targets) is tracked as #20.

Dismissed: #8, #11, #14 (deferred) and #12 (rejected) — moved to Dismissed flags.

Held for a decision (still pending):

  • #18 — the lexical-category tree. The plain lemmas/POS layer can be batch-created on one confirmation of the per-language container name; the finer gender/declension/verb-class/register categories need a parentage decision. Coupled to Module:Head/Module:Labels — recommend Khurouan build it, or confirm the scheme.
  • #20 — recreating the two deleted family-language categories is an approvable mechanical fix; deleting the two broken redirect categories needs an administrator.
  • #21 — the four wanted Ancient Hertic inflection templates; in-progress build work, best left to Khurouan.

Structured data after the run: Polities 0 (was 1 spurious), Lexemes 525 (was 527), Languages 7, LanguageFamilies 5, Continents 8 — the two spurious-row defects (#16, #17) are cleared. Broken redirects 2 (unchanged; #20, awaiting admin deletion). Deletion queue 2 (the same two categories). Clean: no linter errors, no double redirects, Category:Auphen errors empty.

Pending tally: the table now holds 3 rows — #18 (medium), #20 (medium), #21 (low), all pending — plus 4 findings in Dismissed flags. Fourteen rows were resolved and cleared this run.
