'''Vetsia''' is a large continent in the southeast of Yezur, with a temperate climate and abundant natural resources; it is the more developed half of the New World. It is connected to [[Lovvocia]] by a thin isthmus near the equator and, formally, to [[Sihia]] across a mountain range on a shared continental shelf. Vetsia is a large continent in the southeast of Yezur, with a temperate climate and abundant natural resources; it is the more developed half of the New World. It is connected to Lovvocia by a thin isthmus near the equator and, formally, to Sihia across a mountain range on a shared continental shelf. To the south lies the polar continent Pandenica, whose only permanently inhabited headlands reach toward southern Vetsia. Vetsia and Sihia are sometimes treated as a single continent, Vetsihia, though this conflation is a popular misnomer.

Languages

The native languages of Vetsia are isolates; none of the five major Yezuri language families is native here. Following colonial expansion, Andusian languages came to be widely spoken across the continent.
