Yezur Wiki:Daily routine/Report

From Yezur Wiki

Working report of the Alompan daily routine (how it works). Every finding lives as one row below until it is resolved: set a row's Status to give a verdict, and the next run carries it out and clears the row. Nothing on the wiki is changed except what is explicitly approved or amended.

The possible statuses:

  • pending — awaiting review; no action is taken (the default)
  • approved — carry out the Suggested fix, as written
  • amended — carry out the fix described in Notes instead
  • deferred — real, but not now; moves to Dismissed flags and is not re-flagged
  • rejected — not an issue; moves to Dismissed flags and is not re-flagged

To revive a dismissed flag, move it back into the table as pending.

Flagged items

# Flagged Type Severity Page(s) Issue Suggested fix Status Notes
1 2026-07-15 structural medium Pandenica Orphaned — no incoming links from any other page. Add a wikilink to Pandenica from a related geography page — a neighbouring continent or a front-page continent list — so the article is reachable. approved Make it a link from Vetsia, which is the continent nearest to the habitable regions of Pandenica.
2 2026-07-15 structural medium Betonia Wanted page, linked from Andusia, Njeshan, Andusian and Lonish language; the stated homeland of the Njeshan languages and a major subcontinent of Andusia. Create a stub — a large island in western Andusia, culturally distinct, home to the Njeshan languages, counted as part of Andusia. approved 2026-07-18: language families were renamed (Family B → Njeshan, Family C → Andusian); the incoming links updated with them. Still wanted.
3 2026-07-15 structural medium Alompe, Khurou, Thiorosirega, Phose Serou Wanted pages — the notable cities of Hertia, linked only from it (the three bot accounts take their names from the first three). Create redirects to [[Hertia#Notable cities]] as a mechanical first step, to be upgraded to city stubs later. approved Alompe created as a stub 2026-07-17 (Thiorosan, operator-directed) — this row now concerns Khurou, Thiorosirega and Phose Serou only; do not overwrite the Alompe article.
4 2026-07-15 structural medium New World Wanted page, linked from Family A, Lovvocia and Vetsia as a colonial-era geographic concept. flag-only — needs an editorial decision: standalone article, or redirect to a continents / exploration overview. amended Remove the wikilinks; not a page-worthy concept.
5 2026-07-15 structural low Unteria Wanted page — the southeastern island chain of Andusia. Create a stub (subcontinent of Andusia). approved
6 2026-07-15 structural low High Nichana, Otjesi, Pises Wanted pages — each linked from a Njeshan language article (Nichana language, Lonish language, Pjany language) and from Njeshan; apparently the homelands of those tongues. flag-only — create stubs once their nature (region, polity, or city on Betonia) is settled. accepted 2026-07-18: Family B renamed to Njeshan; links updated.
7 2026-07-15 structural low Sea of Sihia Wanted page — a body of water linked from Sihia and Vetsihia. Create a stub (sea). accepted
8 2026-07-15 structural low Yezuri Age of Exploration, Yezuri Middle Ages Wanted historical-period pages, linked from Sihia and Taccho. flag-only — need genuine historical content or a shared timeline decision. deferred Not canon names for these eras. Rather not create stubs for temporary names.
9 2026-07-15 structural low Module:Infobox/doc Wanted documentation subpage for Module:Infobox. Create a documentation page describing the module's parameters. accepted 2026-07-18: the module kit added this period wants the same /doc furniture — Module:Languages/doc, Module:Auphen/doc, Module:Auphen/frame/doc, Module:Auphen/YBS-PJ/doc, Module:Head/doc, Module:Labels/doc are all now redlinked. Same class, same remedy when each module is documented.

Human note: If you, the routine, aren't sure if you're up to the task, let me know and I will ask Thio or Khuro to do it.

10 2026-07-15 structured-data low Template:Infobox continent Files into no Cargo table (the table list holds only Languages, LanguageFamilies, Polities and now Lexemes), so continent lists cannot self-build. flag-only — declare a Continents table on the template and run a one-time "recreate data"; a schema decision for the operator. done I've done it.
11 2026-07-15 structured-data low Andusian, Tacchoan, Shung-Worrehan Member queries list no languages (fall back to the default) although the prose describes native and colonial ranges — a content gap, not a data error. flag-only — add member-language articles when ready. deferred 2026-07-18: families renamed (C/D/E → Andusian/Tacchoan/Shung-Worrehan). The former Family A and B — now Herta-Olaic and Njeshan — gained member languages via this period's Dictionary work and no longer fall back to the default, so this row now concerns these three families only.

Human note: No member languages are in as of yet.

12 2026-07-15 voice low Hertia, Hertic language, Alompe Native names are rendered in real-world Greek letters (Χερτεχι, Αλουμπε, Θηοροςιρεγα, Φοσε Ζερου), which risks reading as an Earth writing system. flag-only — confirm this is an intended in-world orthographic style; otherwise transliterate. rejected 2026-07-18: the Alompe stub carries the same Greek-letter native name (Αλουμπε); Talk:Alompe already records the orthography as under review here. Same finding, wider scope. (Distinct from the phonetic-symbol romanisation — β, γ, ə, ʃ — used in this period's proto-language reconstructions, which is a standard scholarly convention and is not flagged.)

Human note: Fully intentional.

13 2026-07-15 structural low Yezur Wiki:Maps Out-of-frame plumbing test page links Earth-derived placeholder names (Viktorya, Almıros, Ardeşehir Eyaleti, Sahil Eyaleti, Kıran Eyaleti). Harmless as map scaffolding. flag-only — if any become real place names they would break the no-real-world-references rule; leave or replace at will. amended Remove. Documentation should exist for the Maps templates, though.
14 2026-07-15 structural low Main Page, Dictionary:Main Page, Map:Main Page, Category:Yezur Uncategorised — expected for portal front pages and the root category, which legitimately sit outside the category tree. flag-only — no action needed. deferred Flag accepted, but not sure how we will deal with this.
15 2026-07-18 voice medium English language Fails the Earth test. The article reads "a large layer of words without clear cognates in any other Yezuri language" — the reflexive "Yezuri" is precisely the construction the convention forbids (its own counter-example is a language with "no clear cognates in any other Earth language"). "no demonstrated kinship with any of the major Yezuri language families" qualifies by planet the same way. The article (10:09) predates the Earth test, which was added to Yezur Wiki:Conventions later the same day (10:28). Drop the reflexive planet-qualifier: "…without clear cognates in any other language" and "…any of the major language families". Leave "loanwords drawn from languages across Yezur" unchanged — it passes the test ("languages across Earth"). accepted
16 2026-07-18 structured-data medium Talk:Engil The open-threads note contains a bare, unescaped {{Infobox polity}}, so the template is transcluded on the Talk page: it renders a stray infobox and files a spurious row into the Polities Cargo table (Page = Talk:Engil, Name = Engil). That row is currently the table's only content, so any Polities query returns a Talk page as if it were a polity. Escape the template so it renders as text rather than transcluding — wrap it in <nowiki>…</nowiki> (or <code>…</code>). This removes the spurious Cargo row. accepted 2026-07-18: still present — the Polities table still holds only this one spurious row.
17 2026-07-18 structured-data medium Template:Lb, Yezur Wiki:Dictionary structure Both pages mention {{head}} in prose wrapped in <code>…</code> but not <nowiki> — and <code> does not stop transclusion. So a bare {{head}} runs live on each page (Template:Lb line 25; Yezur Wiki:Dictionary structure line 67), filing an empty-field row into the Lexemes Cargo table (word = the page title, every other field blank). The Lexemes table now holds 316 rows — 314 real Dictionary entries plus these two non-entries — so any "all lemmas / all words" query returns a template-doc page and a policy page as if they were words. Same failure mode as #16, different table. Wrap each bare call to match the escaping used everywhere else on both pages: <code><nowiki>{{head}}</nowiki></code>. That stops the live transclusion and drops both spurious rows, leaving Lexemes at the 314 genuine entries. accepted 2026-07-18 (run 3): the run-2 Report page itself carried a live {{head}} in this row's Suggested fix cell — literal braces between entity-escaped &lt;nowiki&gt; tags, which do not stop transclusion — so the report briefly reproduced this very bug and filed a third spurious Lexemes row (Page = this Report). The braces are now entity-escaped in this run's report, dropping that row; Template:Lb and Yezur Wiki:Dictionary structure remain unfixed, so the two genuine spurious rows still stand.
18 2026-07-18 structural medium Category:Proto-Herta-Olaic lemmas and ~23 sibling lexical categories This period's Dictionary import (314 entries) auto-categorises through {{head}}/{{lb}}, creating a backlog of wanted categories: per-language lemmas plus part-of-speech children — Category:Proto-Herta-Olaic lemmas (+ nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, determiners, numerals, conjunctions, adpositions), Category:Proto-Njeshan lemmas (+ the same POS set plus particles), and the Category:Pjany lemmas tree (adjectives, transitive verbs, plus the register categories slang, vulgarities). All are redlinked and will keep growing as more languages get entries. flag-only — a scheme decision. Proposed (Wiktionary model): each Category:<Language> <pos> is a child of Category:<Language> lemmas; each Category:<Language> lemmas is a child of a per-language container and a cross-cutting Category:Lemmas; register categories (slang, vulgarities) branch separately. Confirm the per-language container naming, then the tree can be created mechanically (or by a bot). accepted Also wanted this period, furniture-class and lower priority: Category:Dictionary templates (maintenance cat for the template kit), Category:Hidden categories (the standard hidden-category container), Category:Auphen test failures (tracking cat for Template:Auphen/testcases; empty = no failing tests). Create each with a one-line description when convenient.
19 2026-07-18 structural low Family A, Family B, Family C, Family D, Family E, Category:Family A languages, Category:Family B languages Deletion queue — seven pages carry {{delete}} and sit in Category:Pages flagged for deletion. All are redirects left by the language-family rename (Family A–E → Herta-Olaic/Njeshan/Andusian/Tacchoan/Shung-Worrehan; the two category redirects → the renamed language categories), stated reason: "the old placeholder title is no longer needed." flag-only — the editing bots hold no delete right. Listed for the administrator (Yezur) to action. Nothing incoming still points at the old titles except this row and the redirects themselves, so deletion is clean. amended Done.

Latest run

2026-07-18 (third run of the day; run 2 stopped at rcid 561 and posted at rcid 562) — verdicts + survey. Verdicts carried out: none — all 19 rows are still pending review. Fixes applied: none to canon. Flags dismissed: none. New flags filed: none.

A quiet period: the only Recent-Changes entry since the last survey (rcid 562) is run 2's own report post. No article, template, module, category, or Dictionary page changed, so the structural picture is unchanged from run 2 and every open item above still stands as filed. (The cached maintenance reports — Special:LonelyPages, Special:WantedPages — have partially refreshed since run 2 and now surface a shorter set, but no page was created or linked in the interval, so this is cache timing, not a real change; the authoritative Recent-Changes log confirms zero content edits.)

Report-page housekeeping (not a canon change). Run 2's report reproduced finding #17's own bug: the Suggested fix cell of row #17 contained a live {{head}} — literal braces sitting between entity-escaped <nowiki> tags inside a <code>, which does not suppress transclusion — so the Report page filed a third spurious empty-field row into the Lexemes Cargo table (Page = this Report). This run entity-escapes the braces (&#123;&#123;head&#125;&#125;); the cell still displays the same wikitext but no longer transcludes, so that row drops. This is upkeep of the routine's own working page, not an edit to canon. Row #17's Notes record it; the two genuine spurious rows on Template:Lb and Yezur Wiki:Dictionary structure are untouched and remain pending.

Structured data (re-verified). Languages 7 rows, all key fields present, family values resolving to the renamed pages. LanguageFamilies 5 rows. Polities still holds only the one spurious Talk:Engil row (#16, unfixed). Lexemes read 317 rows this run — 314 genuine entries plus the two #17 rows and the transient Report-page row described above; with the report fixed it returns to 316, still pending the #17 fixes to reach the clean 314.

Structural health (re-verified). Wanted categories are exactly the #18 lexical-category backlog plus the furniture cats folded into #18. Wanted pages are all covered by #2, #3, #4, #6 and #7. Wanted templates surfaces only Template:Yezur Wiki — the namespace-header banner referenced at the top of this and other Yezur Wiki: pages, redlinked and self-documented as harmless ("if this template does not exist, the line is harmless"); left as intentional out-of-frame scaffolding, not flagged. Uncategorised pages/categories are the known portal-and-root set (#14). The deletion queue holds the same seven rename redirects (#19).

Clean checks: no linter errors; no double or broken redirects; Category:Auphen errors empty; no new wanted pages, categories, or templates beyond the open findings and expected scaffolding.

Pending tally: 19 (0 high · 8 medium · 11 low), unchanged from run 2 — no findings added or resolved this run.
