Map:water
The water key refines a body of water — telling a lake from a pond or a stretch of wide river. It is used on an area already tagged natural=water.
How to tag
Add water=* to the water area. Common values include lake, pond, and river (the filled area of a wide watercourse). Flowing water itself is drawn as a way with waterway=*.
