Map:type=boundary

type=boundary is the relation type for a boundary relation — the tag that tells the data model this relation groups the member ways of a boundary.

It goes on the relation itself, alongside the boundary tag (usually boundary=administrative) and, for administrative boundaries, an admin_level. The member ways trace the line.
