Family B is one of the five major Yezuri language families, native to the west of Ignusia and to Betonia. It comprises three branches, anchored respectively in Betonia, the northwest of Ignusia, and the southwest of Ignusia. Proto-B has not yet been reconstructed.

Attested medieval stages include Otjesi (ancestor of Lonish), High Nichana (ancestor of Nichana), and Pises (ancestor of Pjany).
Distribution
Family B has not been carried abroad by major colonial expansion; outside its homeland it is encountered only sporadically.
