Middle Airananwe

Pronunciation

  • /feː/

Etymology

The unstressed form of qofee (to want), which never carries the accent when it leans on a following verb and so lost its first syllable — the wearing that also gave phe from Gaillean uphe, and qitis from naktuz. What was wanted came to be merely supposed.

Verb

fee

  1. (auxiliary) would; marks a supposed or conditioned act
